~~L BEND - Approx. 6 mm shaft, 5 mm tail (11 mm total length)
~~SCREW - Left-bend or right-bend, 1/4" wearable shaft length - Not sure which bend you should choose? The general rule of thumb is to buy the bend for the opposite nostril (i.e. left bend for the right nostril). However, I feel this is personal preference, as both bends will work in either nostril.
~~STRAIGHT (see NOTE below) - Straight, 11mm post
~~FISHTAIL (see NOTE below) - Straight, 19 mm (3/4 inch) post to be shortened, shaped, and filed by your professional piercer for a custom fit.

Gold filled jewelry is not solid gold, but it is far superior to gold-plated jewelry because there is a thick layer of karat gold over the raw brass core, not just a microscopic film as is true in gold plating, and it can last for years if properly cared for and kept clean. Keep your gold filled jewelry clean, store it in an airtight baggie in a dry place (NOT the bathroom! :) and avoid chemicals to prevent tarnishing and retain its beauty for years.

*Rose gold and rose-gold-filled jewelry contains copper (to give it the beautiful pink hue), which can oxidize (tarnish) quickly on some people. Clean your jewelry and the skin around it on a daily basis to remove oils, sweat, and chemicals to prevent oxidation.

*IMPORTANT! A small percentage of people have an allergy to copper, which is in ALL rose-gold and rose-gold-filled jewelry. If you experience irritation, discomfort, or other symptoms of an allergic reaction while wearing your rose-gold-filled jewelry, remove the piece immediately and avoid all jewelry that contains copper, rose-gold, or rose-gold-fill.

NOTE: Straight and Fishtail post styles - Buyer assumes all risk for shaping - No return, refund, or replacement if the nose ring is damaged or broken by you or a third party. These are very thin posts and should be handled with care. Do not twist, repeatedly bend the wire, or use force to shape. I am happy to work with you on a custom post if you have reservations about doing it yourself. :)
