~~Keeping your copper clean is critical to prevent tarnish (see below for more details). 

AVAILABLE GAUGES - NOTE: Copper wire gets stiffer to open and close in thicker gauges (thanks to physics) and may require help from your piercer to insert.
~~24 g - super skinny
~~22 g - skinny
~~20 g - average thickness, stiffer to open/close
~~18 g - thick and stiff to open/close
~~16 g - thicker and very stiff (available in 8 mm and larger)

This ring is handcrafted by me using 100% pure copper wire sourced from a reputable and trusted U.S. supplier. It is then cut, filed, and deburred by hand before tumbling for several hours to strengthen, smooth, and polish until it gleams. :)

ABOUT COPPER
Copper naturally oxidizes and develops a beautiful patina over time. If you keep your copper clean and dry, this harmless, natural process will typically not be a problem. If it is worn for extended periods of time without cleaning it, your skin may discolor. Don't be alarmed, this is not an allergic reaction, your copper is not defective, and you can prevent this by simply keeping your copper jewelry clean and dry, regularly removing any oil or sweat by wiping it with a clean soft cloth (like Sunshine polishing cloths :)

PLEASE NOTE: A small percentage of people have an allergy to copper. If you experience irritation, discomfort, or other symptoms of an allergic reaction while wearing your copper jewelry, remove the piece immediately and avoid all jewelry that contains copper, rose-gold, or rose-gold-fill, as these metals contain copper and may trigger a similar reaction.
